Membership.
The Glendearg All Saints Malvern Tennis Club (GASMTC) is a community club that is community friendly and managed by a committee that are volunteers from its members. The club has a relaxed, friendly and inclusive environment and offers a range of options for members from social tennis, cardio tennis, junior competition and coaching for all ages. The club is available for use by various disadvantaged groups in our community and provides high quality well-maintained facilities.
For membership, please complete the form fields below and submit your application. On receipt we will send you the current Membership Application Form for submission. For a Family Membership the details of all those using the membership must be included.
Please be aware that as a two-court club, a cap on membership numbers is occasionally put in place by the committee to ensure fair access to the courts is maintained for all members. When a cap is put in place all new applications will be put on a waiting list, based on the order they are received.
Membership dates run 1st Oct to 30th Sept each year. New members are required to pay a full year’s membership. If membership commences during a membership year, fees will be pro-rated accordingly.
Primary Facility and the effect on your Tennis Victoria Registration
Tennis Victoria covers our members for accident insurance whilst playing on our courts. The nomination of whatever club is your Primary Facility (where you play most of your tennis) is for their files and does not impact on your insurance coverage when you are playing at the Glendearg facility.
Court Availability
Members have access to the courts providing there is no coaching, competition, pre-arranged Club social events or have been booked online by other members or the Public (casual hire). Members can book online to reserve a court at no cost per booking. Public access is restricted to times when courts are not being used for coaching, competition or by members who have booked. Public use when available, carries a fee per hour per court.
Currently only financial members are able to access the courts.
